Benjamin Jackson Howard

This photo was taken during the Spanish American War. 

Corporal Howard served in Troop B of the 1st Kentucky Cavalry.

Benjamin was born on September 25, 1872 in Magoffin Co., Ky.

He died on September 14, 1932 in Carter Co., Ky. and was buried in the Howard Family Cemetery, Olive Hill, Ky.

Benjamin married Lucy Hatcher.

The family lived in Lewis County before moving to Carter County, Ky.
