The Lillian Hufft was the daughter of Clayborne Claybourne(?) Huff who ran the store and post office at Deevert,
now approximately Iron Hill and Rockhouse Road, ca 1900.
Lillian's mother, Ethel (Forrest) Huff, was the sister of my own grandmother, Sadie Belle (Forrest) Roberts.
Ethel Huff was born in February 1886 in Carter Co., Ky. and appears on the 1900 Carter Co. census.
Ethel and Claybourne were married on September 15, 1901 in Carter Co., Ky. in the presence of Lonzo Everman and Jerry Everman.
They lived above the general store and post office on the right side of the Forrest place.
Claybourne and Ethel had the following children:

Loerst O. Huff was born September 14, 1913 in Carter Co.
