Jacobs Brothers
These are the sons of Ira Jacobs and Martha Gee.

Charlie Jacobs (married Sarah Porter),
Francis Marion Jacobs (married Heba Porter)
Sitting left to right is:
George W. Jacobs (married Minerva Porter),
James W. Jacobs (married Ellen Underwood) and
Robert G. Jacobs (married Thursie Porter).
George Jacobs served as sheriff for Carter County from 1902 to 1906.
James Jacobs served as census taker around the Jacobs, Ky area in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
His daughter, Viola Jacobs, who was an educator in Carter County, took her fathers place in the 1930 census.
