David Jessie born June 8,1859 in Carter Co. Kentucky, married Arvilla Ray in 1886. He died Dec.21,1947 in Carter Co. He was the son of George and Elizabeth Jessie.
David and Arvilla had eleven children: Carrie, Claude, Lola M., Mason, James Lee, Minnie, Estill W., Charles Hayden, Cassie Hazel, Arnold, and Ruby Jessie. David and Arvilla Jessie are buried at Bowen Chapel Cemetery.
