Catherine (Johnson) Meade
This is Catherine "Cat" (Johnson) Meade. Catherine was born about 1880 and died in the 1970's (possibly Sept. 3, 1973).
She was the daughter of Patrick and Ollie (Bentley) Johnson.
They were from Pike or Floyd County and later moved to Carter County, Kentucky.
Patrick and Ollie Johnson had 12 children: Betty, Sally, Joseph, Sarah, Wilburn "Doc", Jasper, Catherine "Cat", Polly, Nancy "Bird", William Daniel, Samuel and Robert E."Lee" Johnson.
Catherine married Walter Monroe "Watt" Meade, the son of William Henry Meade and Elizabeth Bridget "Biddy" Kiser.
Catherine and Walter had the following children:
John, James "Jim", Hazel, William "bill", Chester, Lucy, Emmitt, Ida and Jefferson "Jeff".
James Meade married Hettie Greenhill. William Meade married Safrona Parker. Lucy Meade married John Easterling.
