(l to r) St. Clair, Hiram and Seth Jones. Hulda Jane (Cremeans) Jones Hiram Jones, born 3 June 1830, was a son of Stephen Jones Jr.. He married Hulda Jane Cremeans in Carter County in 1861. St. Clair Jones is my Grandfather who I never got to meet. He died on my Dad's 8th birthday in 1930. Seth Jones was the oldest of 5 Jones boys. St. Clair died on July 11, 1930 which was my Dad's 8th birthday. My grandmother moved from Kentucky to Portsmouth and never spoke much of the Jones family. Until my Dad died in 1995 I had no idea how little we knew about his family. As Mom was going through his things she discovered a couple of boxes of pictures my Grandmother Jones left Dad that she had forgotten about. Everything I know about the family now I have learned since I started doing Genealogy in 1996.Submitted by: Larry Jones
