George was born May 5, 1861 and died January 12, 1952.
George married Mary Susan Davis on November 17th, 1887 at the home of A. C. Davis, in Carter Co., KY.
Mary Susan was the d/o Charles "Nick" Nicholas Davis and Mary Evaline "Bird" McGlone.
George Washington Litteral owned a tobacco farm in Carter County.
All of George's offspring are shown in the photo except "Lute" (Martin Luther) and Henry Noah.

"The occasion was the 100th birthday of George Washington Litteral (my grandfather),
and was taken at the residence of Ambrose Litteral, about a mile or so from Rybolt KY,
where he was farming on shares."
