I really don't know much about this family. I know that "Dovie" (back row, left) was a daughter of James Lucas and Rachael Lunsdord.

Dovie's given name was Dora or Dova. She was married to a Mr. McCormick for about three years.
She then married David Evans and had children named Grace, Frank, Clayton and Charles.

In the 1930 Carter County census Dovie is married to a Mr. Morrison.

James and Rachael Lucas had four children:

Benjamin Harrson Lucas married Cleevy Stidham.

William Henry Lucas married Goldie LeMaster.

Bascom Lucas married Rachael Lunsdord in West Virginia and died young.

Dora/Dova Lucas was the fourth child.

James Lucas was previously married to Caroline Gillean. They had four children:

Susan Lucas married a Mr. Carraway
