George Washington Marshall and Jemima (Walker) Marshall
"Jemima is the daughter of William Riley Walker and Sarah Jane Pennington.
Jemima "Mima" (Walker) Marshall was my Great Great grandmother. She was born 20 September 1875 in
Deer Creek,Carter County Ky and died 8 November 1955 in Plain City, Ohio. Jemima is a registered Cherokee Indian.
Next to her is her husband George Washington Marshall, born 27 September 1865 in Magoffin County, Kentucky.
George died 9 September 1933 in Greenup County, Kentucky. They raised 10 children.
They also raised my grandmother Nola (Morris) Leeth and her two brothers after their parents died in the 1920's. This photo circa 1930.
