"Gracie June McFarland Porter, age 85, of Elliott County, passed away Saturday morning, March 17, in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.

Mrs. Porter was born September 19, 1921 in Elliott County, a daughter of the late James Sr. and Grace Cox McFarland."
