This is a photo of of my Grandpa Harry Messer --back row left----, my Dad Charles (Junior) Messer is pictured to his right.
Front row left to right: Harry's son Ralph and the boys' uncle, Toots Fisher. The road behind them is College Hill.
"This photo was taken out front of my Grandpa (Harry) Messer's house. College Hill road leads to Watson Cemetary. That is where my Grandpa is buried. I know the house burned some years ago. I remember as a child my Dad bringing water in from the well outside the house. Seemed like everywhere we went they had those big silver dippers in the bucket of water. The good old days! Years later, Ralph and Dad (Charles) used to play guitars and sing in church together. I remember all of Dad's brothers and sisters could play some kind of musical instrument.
Toots Fisher was Grandma (Blanch) Messer's brother. He was very kind to me when I was a child."
