JC Porter Donna Pelfrey Byrd's mom was Loreada Stephens (daughter of Nettie and Edward Stephens) Donna Byrd's grandma Nettie was the 2nd wife of Everett Porter (s/o Alex, s/o AJP) Donna Byrd's grandfather Edward Stephens was the son of Ida Cline, who had brothers Harmon Cline and Rosco Cline. They also had a half sister Jenny Cline who was the 1st wife of AR "Bob" Porter (s/o Levi, s/o AJP). Vinard Cline was a son of Harmon Cline. Albert Rush "Bob" Porter married Jennie Cline [12618] [MRIN: 4918], daughter of William Harrison Cline [22619] and Nancy L. Brown [22620], on 14 Nov 1895 in Carter KY. Jennie was born on 14 Nov 1879 in VA, died on 6 Aug 1915 in Elton, Evergreen, Langlade, Wis at age 35, and was buried on 8 Aug 1915 in Porter Cemetery, White Lake, Langlade WI. They had ten children: Elva, Roy, Gladys, Alta, Urcle, Beulah, Vern, Clark, Howard, and Esther R. Everett Porter next married Nettie Nora Jessie [12272] [MRIN: 507385674], daughter of William Jesse [13245] and Margaret "Maggie" Tipton [13246], in 1958. Mrs. Bettie Nora Stevens Porter, 69, Rt. 1, Olive Hill, died Thursday night at her home following several weeks' illness. Born Nov 12, 1897 in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret Tipton Jessie. Her first husband, Ed Stevens, died in 1955. Surviving are her second husband, Everett Porter; two sons, Burl Stevens of Hamilton OH; and Paul Stevens of Lubbock TX; one daughter, Mrs. Loreda Pelfrey of Germanton OH; two sisters, Mrs. Annabelle Fultz of Globe, and Mrs. Naomi Collins Akers of Dwale; one brother, Lonnie Jessie of Olive Hill; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral serivces will be conducted at 10am Sunday at the Leslie A. Henderson Funeral home at Olive Hill by the Rev. Clifford Price. Burial will be in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery.
