Pearl Gustava Stone
This is a picture of my mother, Pearl Gustava Stone, taken in the 1940's. She was the daughter of William Harrison Stone and Malinda Caroline McCleese. She was born January 25, 1914 in Lewis County, Kentucky, and died June 18, 1999 in Fayette Co, OH. She married my dad, James Madison McBrayer, in 1928.
James and Pearl McBrayer had three children: Elmer Shane McBrayer, born in Gallia Co., Ohio on January 10, 1932; Buell Edward McBrayer, born in Gallia Co., Ohio on June 9, 1934; Marjorie Pauline McBrayer, born March 2, 1940 in Fayette County, Ohio.
Malinda Caroline McCleese was the daughter of James Wesley McCleese and Rachel Rhodisa Tackett. Melinda was born November 28, 1885 in Carter Co, KY., and died December 19, 1970 in Washington Court House, Fayette Co, OH..
