I believe Oda is related to Florence (Ross) Tabor, but I don't know how. I have a Tabor chart, but Oda is not on it.

Here is another one of those names from the album, Oda Tabor. I checked all the census records for Carter County from 1880 to 1930 and find only one person that fits the bill. Oda, sometimes spelled Odie was born on October 28, 1888 according to the SS Death Index. The birth of her son Vernon shows her maiden name to be Oda Wilburn. The 1910 census gives her middle initial as “L”. She was married to Frank H. Tabor apparently in 1908 or 1909 since the 1910 census says they have been married one year. Sometime between 1920 and 1930 they moved to Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio whey Frank died on May 27, 1936. His Ohio Death Certificate gives his father as Basil Tabor and his mother as Eliz Hull. His wife is shown as Odie Wilburn Tabor and she signs the death certificate that way. The Ohio Death Index gives her name as Oda I. Tabor and simple says she is over 100 years of age. The date of death is given as November 18, 1988. It states that she died in Clermont County , Ohio . In checking his and her parents I did not find any connection to the Ross family but perhaps you will recognize something in one of the names. The name Oda is so unusual and for it to be connected to the name Tabor I feel sure it is the one in the photo. Submitted by David Tucker
