Robert Delane Tabor
Robert Delane Tabor was the son of Jasper Fielding Tabor and Martha Henderson Tabor of Olive Hill. Photo was probably taken in the 1930’s or 1940’s.
Robert Delane Tabor won the Andrew Carnegie Metal of Honor after he went down into a mine shaft and saved many miners lives and risked his own life. Renee McLaury's great uncle, Richard Tabor, still has this metal.
This photo is in the possession of Renee McLaury. Renee is the great granddaughter of Delane Tabor and Martha Henderson Tabor.
