James Wilson Tackett was born in 1833/1834 on Long Fork Creek, Pike Co,. KY.. He died in 1921.

James and his first wife had one child. Neither name is known.

James' second marriage was to Delcina Sparks. Delcina was born in 1855 and died in 1935.

James was the son of Moses Tackett and Dicie Rodisa Louisa Osborne.
