These appear to be photos of a Christmas gathering in downtown Olive Hill.
I am not that good with dating cars, but it looks like late 1940 automobiles in the picture.
One photo shows what looks to be Santa Claus in the back of a pickup, the other photo shows what looks like a group of kids looking at Santa.
Olive Hill always had great Christmas celebrations.
Note the old style two light traffic signal.
"After U.S. 60 changed it path through Olive Hill and went to its current traffic pattern, this old light was just turned off and they put up stop signs.
They used to have stop signs attached to the bottom of the light."
These photos belong to Sandy (Armstrong) Collins.
"I believe they are from her mother's (Nadine Cartee) collection of pictures."
