If your picture viewer has a way to enlarge, you can see both brickyards on the left side of the picture.
Looking at downtown, if you look at the bridge, you will notice the saw mill to the left of the bridge,
and the wood water tower for the steam engines on the right side next to the freight depot.

You might also notice that there are no schools on the hill above the town, at the time of the photo,
the school was located in the section of town known as the "Alley".

Also on the left side of the picture, you can make out "Stumptown Bottoms".

To the far left, you can see the smoke stacks from General Refractory Brick Plant.

The brickyard that can easily made out is Harbinson-Walker (the New Brickyard).

The bridge in the left of the picture was suppose to be a wood structure, it was washed away by a flood, and an iron bridge replaced it.
