Unidentified Lucas Family Photos

Submitted by Dreama Calvo (dreama045ready at gmail.com), Mary Waldren and Daniel Lucas

"Some of these pictures may be Lowe's, Tolliver's, Montgomery's, Burris', Lucas', or even Kitchens.
Most of these pictures were found in Aunt Delia Tolliver's old trunk when she passed on.
My grandmother Mary Lowe Lucas retained ownership of the trunk and then it was passed to my aunt Terri Lucas Duncan.
So pictures have been added and most likely taken away, I remember Grandma showing me several pictures when I was younger--the tin types,
and I have yet to find them among Grandma's belongings, so I think she may have given them away." - Mary Lester Waldren

The following info was contributed by David Tucker:

"This may or may not help the family but possibly it will "ring a bell" with somebody. The baby picture of Leslie Carlisle, Jr.
born about 1908/09 is apparently Leslie G. Carlisle, Jr. According to the 1910 census he is living with his parents in Indianapolis, IN."

"His father is Leslie G. Carlisle, Sr. and his mother is Edna M. They were all born in Kentucky. In looking at the 1900 census of Kentucky
Leslie G. Carlisle is from Carroll County, Kentucky. The marriage records of Carroll County show that a Leslie G. Carlisle married Edna M. Calvert in 1907.
Leslie G. Carlisle, Sr. was the son of Edward F. Carlisle and Nannie Satchwell who were married in Carroll County in 1882.
The 1880 census indicates that Edward F. Carlisle was the son of James A. Carlisle and Nancy."

"Leslie G. Carlisle was living in Boyd County by 1930."

"The Carroll County site under the heading "families" has a very complete genealogy of the Carlisle family."
