The submitter believes this gentleman is related to the couple Parrum Blankenship, b. February 27, 1822 in Kentucky, d. August 17, 1867, Schuyler County, Missouri and Amanda Wilton (Wilton?), b. September 10, 1832, Greenup County, Kentucky, d. May 25, 1890, Putnam County, Missouri. They were married January 4, 1847 in Greenup County, Kentucky. In 1850 they appeared in McDonough County Illinois with the Thomas Blankenship and William Blankenship families. Thomas Blankenship was b. 1798, Virginia, and his wife, Permilia, was b. 1796 in Virginia. William, their son, was listed with his wife, Sara, and their one-year old daughter Nancy. The Thomas Blankenship family and the Parrum Blankenship family were listed in the 1850 Carter County, Kentucky Census. All of the adults referred to are interned at St. John Cemetery, Grant Twp., Putnam County, Missouri. These and other unidentified photos are from the album of my great grandmother, Florence Malinda Blankenship Johnson Brown of Elm Twp., Putnam County, Missouri.
