I, Synthia A. Reeves of the county of Carter and the state of
Kentucky, being of sound mind and memory do make publish and declare this to be
my last will and testament to witt: First all of my Just Debts and Funeral
Expenses shall be first fully paid. Second
I give and devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my estate
both real and personal to my daughter-in-law Brunette Reeves and her heirs and
assigns to have and to hold forever; provided that the said Brunette Reeves
takes care of me the rest of my life time.
I nominate and appoint L N Raison to be the executor of this my last
Will and testament hereby revoking all former wills made
by me. In witness
whereof I have here set my hand and seal this March 1888.

I, W.H. Mocabee, clerk of the Carter County Court, do certify
that the foregoing Will of Synthia A Reeves was this 10th day of
April 1899 produced to me in open court and proven by the oath of J.P. Strother
, one of the attesting witnesses there to be the last will and testament of
Synthia A reeves Deceased, where upon the court ordered the same to be recorded
as the last true will and testament of Synthia A Reeves Deceased, where upon
the same and this certificate has been duly recorded in my office. Given under my hand this 18th day
of April 1899.
