Can You Identify These?

Is this Rev. J. T. Spurlin and wife??

These photos were sent to us by Rebecca Graham who is the great-granddaughter
of John L. Childress, author of the poem to Rev. Spurlin.
 
 Rebecca write: " ...I have a couple of pictures that were with my grandparents belongings that I believe
might be Rev. Spurlin and possibly his wife.  Can you get them posted to see if anyone can attest to this
or possibly identify them.  There are similarities with the picture of Spurlin on the site, but my picture might be a
little younger version.  I don't want them to say that it definitely is when I'm not sure.  I'm hoping there are some
Spurlin's still around that might confirm this.  The photos were side by side in an old album."
