Frank Baynes, aged 31, a native of Birdsville, Ky., died Monday morning at 2 o'clock at the Riverside hospital, after a short illness of appendicitis, although an operation was performed in an effort to save his life.
The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dora Baynes, and two daughters and one son. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Baynes, and three sisters, Mrs. Nola Lay, Mrs. Myrtle Bagley and Miss Nellie Baynes, and four brothers, Tom, Hugh, Clarence and Noble Baynes, also survive. All are of Clarksville.
The body was removed to the undertaking establishment of Nance & Selby,
where it was embalmed. The body was taken to Birdsville yesterday on the steamer
Ohio, wher the funeral will be held today at the Parker Cemetery.
