J M BINNSFormer Cadiz Business Man Dies In Hopkinsville
J.M. BINNS,87, died at his home in Hopkinsville last Monday night as a result of a paralytic attack.
Mr Binnus will be remembered by many in the county having been engaged in the Milling business here for many years.
He is survived by seven children, six of whom now reside in Canada and the seventh, Miss Edith BINNS of Hopkinsville. Also surviving is a sister, Miss Jennie BINNS of England. Mr Binns had made his home with his daughter in Hopkinsville since the death of his wife in 1926.
Funeral services were held from the Wood Fuqua & David Funeral Home last Monday at 2:30 p.m. Burial was made at
the East End Cemetery here in Cadiz. Dr. A.R. Kasey, pastor of the First Methodist Church, conducted the services.

RONALD BINNS
Former Trigg Countian Killed In Action.
Pvt Ronald BINNS only son of Mr and Mrs Walter Binns, of Meota, Ariz. was killed in active service in Italy on September
3.
Ronald was born 21 years ago in Meota, and attended public and high schools there, of which his father is the caretaker. He
was a faithful member of the United Church before he enlisted.
Although Ronald volunteered for service in January, 1943, an opening in his chosen branch was not available until July of the
same year. Shortly after enlisting, and before completing his basic training, he volunteered as a subject at the Mustard Gas
Illustration Station at Suffield Alta, for a period of six weeks. He took his basic training at Prince Albert for two months, then
proceeded to Camp
Shill for another two months. He went overseas in April, 1944, and after spending six weeks in England he went on active
service in the Italian theater of war.
Surviving are his parents, we well as several uncles, aunts and cousins residing in the Glenwood Springs are of Trigg County.

Death In Ohio Of Walter Binns
One of Well-Known Binns Brothers And Brother And Son Once Lived Here
Connected For Years With Pee Dee Mill and Known To Many Citizens of Trigg
Mr. Walter Binns, brother of Mr. J. M. Binns, a former well known citizen of Trigg county, and the father of Forrest Binns, for a number of years connected with the mill of A. F. White & Co., in Cadiz, died recently. Says the HOPKINSVILLE NEW ERA of November 11th.
Walter Binns, formerly of this county, died November 8th at Piqua, Ohio, and the remains were brought to Hopkinsville this morning and the funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 at Riverside Chapel. Rev. Gunn, of Lafayette, assisted by Dr. R. B. Grider, will have charge of the services.
Mr. Binns had lived at Pee Dee this county for many years and retired from business several years ago and after living in Florida for two years, moved to Piqua, Ohio. Mr. Binns was a member of the Methodist church.
As a boy of 21, Mr. Binns came to America from England and settled in Christian county among the pioneers of this county. He had charge of the Binns Mill for some twenty to twenty five years.
While still a young man, Mr. Binns became a member of the Presbyterian church at Princeton and later when he moved to Pee Dee near a Methodist church, he became a member of that faith and had been connected with the church in an active way ever since.
He is survived by his wife and six sons and daughters. Tom and Forrest Binns, of Winter Haven, Ala; Allie, Daisey, Mrs. J. W. Dawson and Ernest of Pee Dee, and George and Stanley of Cincinnati, Ohio.
