recovering.Mention going to meet her husband and children. She left behind one sister, Mrs. Mary GILLUM of Mayfield, several grandchildren, besides other relatives and friends.

John William Burke, 53, of Hopkinsville, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1999 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
A laborer with Newell-Bailey Lumber, member of Bloomfiel Baptist Church of Cadiz, where he was a deacon, member of the Male Chorus, Usher Board and the Brotherhood, he was born Feb. 25, 1946, in Cadiz, Trigg County, Ky., a son of the late Willie Burke and Sara Malone Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Linda P. Burke ; his step-father, Belvie Wilson, Sr.,of Hopkinsville; a step-daughter, NaKeisha Page of Hopkinsville ; a step-son, Robert Carter of Fort Riley, Kans.; a sister, Cecily Malone of Hopkinsville; five brothers, Rev. Ollie Hancock of Hopkinsville, Horace Street of Cadiz, and James Hancock, Morgan Hancock and Arthur Malone, all of Princeton, and two step-brothers, Belvie Wilson, Jr. of Hopkinsville, and Tyrone Wilson of Indianapolis, Ind.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Bloomfield Baptist Church in Cadiz with the Rev. E.A. Brown, Sr., officiating.
Burial followed in Crown Hill Cemetery.
