The sudden death of Mrs. C.H. Bush, at her residence on South Main Street, Sunday night at 10 o'clock was a shock to the community.
She attended church in the morning and was apparently in the best of health.
Late in the afternoon she was taken ill and died at 10 o'clock of internal hemorrhage. Mrs. Bush was the daughter of Mr. R.C. Gary and the mother of three lovely children.
She had long occupied a prominent place in society and was universally beloved. Her sudden death cast a shadow of gloom over a bereaved household and marks with grief the hearts of a large circle of friends.
Her funeral was preached at the baptist church Monday afternoon by Rev. J.N. Prestridge, the interment taking place at the city cemetery. Her kindness, love and charity together with the other noble traits of he rlife won for her a place in the hearts of our people and her death is sincerely regretted by all who knew her. To the motherless children, loving husband, grieving relatives and friends we can only say that "God moves in a mysterious way," but Providence orders all things well.

Mr. George Bush, an old honored citizen of Pee Dee, died Friday night. The deceased was a man of excellent parts and his death is a sad stroke to the community.

Hubert Bush, 73, Elkton, died at 10:45 p.m. Friday at Clarksville Memorial Hospital, Clarksville, Tenn., following a brief illness. Services were at 10 this morning at Latham Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mike Dorsey officiaing. Burial was in Edgewood Cemetery, Trenton.
A native of Warren County, he was born July 9, 1925, the son of the late Arvil and Lucille McLellan Bush. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include a son, George Bush, Muscle Shoals, Ala., Three sister, Frances Robinson, Lebanon, Tenn., Margaret Elliott, Cedar Hill, Tenn., Mary Alice Burress, San Diego, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

A native of Christian County, he was born Feb. 8, 1937, the son of the late Thomas and Amanda Gray Bush. He was a former coal miner and was a member of the Princeton Street Baptist Church, Crofton.

NORRIS DALTON BUSH

Norris Dalton BUSH, 18 year old son of Mr and Mrs. Lexie Bush of this city, died Monday night in a Rapid City,
South Dakota hospital where he had been taken around 8:30 the same night after an automobile accident.
Mr and Mrs. Bush were informed of the accident at approximately 10:00 p.m. and started to South Dakota but when they arriv ed in Nashville a wire was awaiting them saying Norris had died. They returned home.
An older son, Billy, who was employed with the same company, Preload Construction Company of Kansas City, was in Rapid City also and arrived home last night.
According to information received from South Dakota the car in which Norris was riding ran head on into another vehicle. Two other occupants of the car, boys with whom Norris worked, were seriously injured.
Norris was born October 30, 1931 and attended Cadiz Graded School and Trigg County High. He was quite popular with his school mates and the older people of this city and county as well. For two years he was employed at Cunningham's Drug Store now Meadow's Pharmacy, and worked before and after school and on week ends. he was graduated from Trigg County High in the spring of this year and has been employed with preload since June 16.
When he was eight year of age, Norris united with the Cadiz Methodist Church, of his own free will, and gave such a perfect testimony that no one could ever doubt that he was too young to understand the vows he was taking. The town and county as a whole deeply grieved with this family in loss of this fine promising man.
Survivors are the parents and grand parents, Mr and Mrs. Alonzo Bush; a brother, Billy Bush and a number of uncles, aunts and cousins.
Rev. R.G. Shaver, pastor of the Cadiz Methodist church, officiated at the final rites, assisted by Rev. Shirley Spahr, pastor of the Cadiz Baptist church. Interment was made at East End Cemetery with Mitchell and Campbell in charge of the arrangements.

In Memory of Our Daughter, Ronia Bush, And Rozell Jain Bush. --- On January 18th, 1908, the Lord called for Rozelle Jane , and on June 22, 1908, there was a happy meeting on the other shore with mother and her little babe. I know she must have been happy when she reached that other shore and there met Jesus and her sweet darling babe and was relieved of her suffering on this earth. Ronia's life was short on this earth, being only thirty-two years old. She professed faith in Christ several years ago and joined the Buffalo Lick church, and was still a member of that church when she died, though she had lived in Lyon county for eighteen months. She was a dear lover of Sunday school and good singing. Oh, how we miss her gentle voice in the church and in the home. It seems to me I can almost see her gentle form as she sat in the home and sang, but I feel so thankful to the Lord that our loss is her gain. While our hearts are all broken with grief and sorrow, we sorrow not as th!
ose that have no hope, for after awhile I expect to meet Ronia again, and the sweet little babe that was so precious to me and her grandmother. When I am through with sorrows and disappointments of this life, and when my Lord calls me, may he help me to say, "Yea though I walk through the valley and shadow of death, I will fear no evil: Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me." Though six months have passed away, I still grieve and sigh for Ronia's sweet presence, as I feel so lonely without her. Amoss and Willey have passed on before, Oh, how we miss them in the home. W.I. Bush A Highly Respected Citizen of Lamasco Died of Consumption
W.I. BUSH, an old and highly respected citizen, of Lamasco, died Monday morning at 9 o'clock of that dread disease
consumption. He had been in a lingering condition for some time and his death was not unexpected by his family and many
friends.
Mr Bush was a member of the Christian Church and was known for and near for his most exemplary life always having a kind word for those with whom he came in contact. He leaves a wife and several daughters and one son to mourn his death.
He remains were laid to rest Wednesday afternoon in the baker graveyard near Rock Castle.

Was a Brother of Boone BUSH of This City
Mr William H BUSH died February 24th at his home near Wallonia of chronic bowel trouble.
He had been in feeble health since last June. Mr Bush was fifty-five years old and was a son of George BUSH, deceased.
He is survived by a wife and two children, Mr Sam BUSH and Mrs Della MITCHELL, widow of the late Amoss MITCHELL. Two sisters, Mrs Henry DELAWSON and one brother, Mr J. Boone BUSH, all of this county, also survive him.
Mr Bush was a clever gentleman, a high-toned honorable citizen, and in his death the county loses a man who will be very greatly missed by all who knew him. For twenty years he had been a member of Blue Spring Baptist church in Caldwell county, and always took an active part in the work and success of his church and the cause of the Master.
The remains were buried at the old Wall graveyard near Wallonia in the presence of a large numbered sorrowing friends and loved ones.
