IVA M. CHILDERS
Iva M. Childers, 86, Christian Health Center, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, July 9, 2000, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Dawson Springs. Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. Tuesday.
A native of Muhlenberg County, she was born April 23, 1904, the daughter of the late John and Linda Samples Gray. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cornerstone Church of God. Her husband, Albert Childers, died in 1997.Survivors include a son, Billy W. Childers, DuQuoin, Ill.; two daughters, Juanita Wyatt, Roseville, Mich., Dorothy Boor, Warren, Mich.; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
