Mrs James Dunnegan Dies

Death came to Mrs Jim Dunnagan, last Sunday, January 7 at her home near the Hermatite School,.
Her home place was widely known as the old Jimmy Dunnagan home place.
Her death followed a long period of serious illness and intense suffering, having been confined to her bed for the past six month. Before her marriage she was Miss Nina Taylor of Trigg county, having been born and reared in the section around Hermatite.
Funeral services were held at the home on Monday
afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. T.C. Morrison, Cadiz Methodist Church, officiating, Rev. Roland's quartet sang. Burial was at the Hermatite burial Grounds,
Mrs Dunnagan united with the Hermatite ME Church early in her youth and remained a devout Christian throughout her life, bearing with courage her many trials and the pain of her long illness.
Her husband preceded her to the grave five years ago.
Surviving are Taylor Dunnagan, Alton Ill; Hayden Dunnagan, now serving with the U.S. Navy another son, Ollie Dunnagan died in 1940. Also surviving are her daughters, Mrs Wallace Hooks and Mrs Earl Porter Mayhugh of the between the rivers section and Alice Dunnagan, of Colorado, and several grandchildren; her sisters, Mrs Simon E. Ingram; Mrs B.H. Bloodworth; Mrs Henry Luton; Mrs Grant Lane, all of the county and Mrs Jim Aldridge, Alton, Ill; also her brothers, Bob Taylor and Tom Taylor, of Potosi, Mo.
