CADIZ, Ky. -- Services for Alfred Faughn, 86,
Cadiz, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Canton
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Paul Cannon
officiating.Burial will be in Hurricane Cemetery, Trigg
County, with military rites at the grave. Visitation
begins at 4 this afternoon at King's Funeral Home,
and visitation will be from 6 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Saturday at the funeral home and from noon until
time for the service at the church.He died at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2000,
at River's Bend Retirement Community, Kuttawa,
of natural causes.A native of Trigg County, he was born July 5,
1913, the son of the late Ben and Annie Faughn. He
was a farmer and a World War II Army veteran
and recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a
member of the Canton Baptist Church. His first
wife, Cynthia Beulah Faughn, preceded him in
death.Survivors include his wife, Pearl Calhoun Faughn;
a son, Dorris Oliver, Trigg County; two daughters,
Mrs. Bud (Carolyn Gibbs) Cannon, Cadiz, Mrs.
Floyd (Aleen Oliver) Ashley, Hardin; two stepson,
Billie Joe Stallons and Tim Stallons, both of
Cadiz; a stepdaughter, Teresa Kennedy, Cadiz; 10
grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two
stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Barbara Nell FAUGHN, 62, of Princeton will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Oct 14, 1998 at Morgan's
Funeral Home in Princeton. The Revs. David Wilkerson and Cecil Shelton will officiate the services. Burial will follow in Princeton Memorial Gardens.
Miss Faughn died on oct 9 at Gulf Breeze Hospital in Pensacola, Fla, of an accidental drowning.
Miss Faughn was born on April 4, 1936 in Lyon County. She was the daughter of the late William McKinley and Eula Mae
Holmes Faughn.
Miss Faughn was retired after 24 years with Barge, Wagner, Sumner and Cannon Architecture, Engineering and Planning firm where she was a senior vice president, secretary and treasurer. She was a graduate of Nashville Business College; was a certified professional secretary, active in Professional Secretaries International, having served two terms as president of the Nashville chapter in 1961-1962; was selected "Secretary of the Year" by the Nashville Chapter in 1963, and served as Tennessee Division president in 1966. She was a active member of CABLE and chaired the YWCA Building Committee in 1986. She also served as board member of Pennyroyal Industries Inc. She was legal guardian and raised her niece, Kathy Rose Lane since 1991. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Gene, Sid, Noble, Earl and Merle Faughn; and two sisters, Sylvia Lane and Edith Mackney. Survivors include two brothers, Billy Faughn of Caldwell County and Jimmie Faughn of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Margaret Faughn of Caldwell County and Bobbie Mitchell of Trigg County; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great-nephews.

Claude V. Faughn, 78, of Cadiz, Ky. died Thursday Sept 7, 2000 of natural causes.
A logger and member of the Methodist faith, he was born May 6, 1922 in Trigg County, a son of the late Killis T. and Myrtie Allen Faughn.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lacy Faughn and Tilman Faughn ; two sisters, Luveda Lancaster and Pansy Woods, and a nephew , Ray Woods.
Survivors include a sister, Mamie Banister of Trigg County and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services Saturday, Sept 9, 2000 at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz with the Rev Dale Ford officiating.
Burial in Siloam Cemetery in Trigg County, Ky.
A long illness culminated in death for Frances Marion FAUGHN, 42, last December 24 at the home of his father J. Ben FAUGHN.
Mr Faughn was born on Jan 25, 1902 and professed faith in Christ and joined the Hurricane Baptist Church about 13 years ago.
He was united in marriage to Miss Bessie HENRY and to this union were born two children, who survive.Funeral services were conducted from the home and burial was made at the Sivills grave yard near Bethesda.
There survive besides his wife and children, his father, mother, three brothers, Adolphus and Zan FAUGHN of Trigg County; Alfred Faughn, U.S. Army; five sisters Mrs Thos FREEMAN of Evansville; Mrs Lewis CAIN, Eddyville; Mrs Eliza MALONE, Mrs Willie MORRIS, Princeton; and Mrs Lloyd ALLEN of Cadiz.

Pfc Alfred Faughn returned to Camp Rucker, Ala after a seven day emergency furlough with his people. He was called home to attend the funeral services of his brother, Francis Faughn.

James Benjamin Faughn Dies At the Age of 78 Years
Funeral services for JAMES BENJAMIN FAUGHN 78, were held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the home near Bethesda.Mr Faughn passed away at 6 o'clock at his home. He was the son of John D. and Martha MitchelL Faughn having been born December 23, 1872, in Trigg county.
On October 13, 1894, he was married to Miss Annie Faughn, who survives. To this union fourteen children were born, two having died in infancy and four others also preceding their father in death.
The deceased united with the Blue Spring Baptist church of Caldwell county in early manhood and remained a faithful member until the end of his life. His pastor, the Rev. Wade Cunningham, conducted the last rites and burial was made in the Curling cemetery, with A.K. Goodwin in charge.
Survivors, in addition to the widow are three sons, AdolphUS, Zan and Alfred Faughn, all of Trigg county, five daughters, Mrs. Willie Morris and Mrs. Eliza Malone Gray of Princeton; Mrs. Thomas Freeman and Mrs. Louis Cain, of Evansville, Ind; Mrs. Loyd Allen,city; 17 grand children and 6 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Herschell Dorris Allen, Ted Futrell, R.C. Gray, James Gray, Nacy Sanders and Dave Wright. Flower Girls were Barbara Oliver, Mrs. James Gray, Ruth Malone, Mrs. Dave Wright, Maxine Allen, Martha Morris, Mrs. Leon Futrell and Betty Freeman.

L.T. Faughn, 78, Cadiz, died at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday at Trigg County Hospital of natural causes.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with the Revs. Gary Pate and Dale Ford officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of Trigg County he was born Jan. 10, 1920, the son of the late Killis T. and Myrtie Allen Faughn. He was a logger, a farmer and a horse puller. He was also a member of the Hurricane Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Mable Cunningham Faughn; a daughter Barbara Ladd, Cadiz, a brother, Claude Faughn, Cadiz; a sister, Mamie Bannister, Cadiz; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
ZAN BENJAMIN FAUGHN, 64, Route 2, died Friday, Jan. 16, at 5 a.m. at his home.
A native of Trigg County, Mr. Faughn was born October 25, 1911, son of James Benjamin and Annie Faughn Faughn.
He was a farmer and had recently been employed as a maintenance man at Barkley Lodge.
Funeral services were conducted at Goodwin Funeral Home Sunday, Jan 18, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. O.D. Boyd officiating. Music services were by Mrs. Mae Frankel, organist.
Burial was in Curling Cemetery. Survivors include a brother, Alfred Faughn, one sisters, Mrs. Loyd Allen, Cadiz; and a number of nieces and nephews. A number of brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
Pallbearers were Glenn Morris, Garland Morris, Robert Morris, Ted Futrell, Mike Futrell, and Floyd Cannon.
