Hallie S. James, 85, Hopkinsville, Ky.
Died Thursday 19 February 1987 at her home.
Born 30 Nov 1901 in Christian Co., daughter of William Edward and Fannie Sylvester Stewart Guthrie.
Member of First Christian Church. Her husband, Otis Monroe James, died in 1972.
Survivors: daughter, Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Clark of Hopkinsville; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Services: Saturday 21 Feb 1987, burial in Rosedale Cem., Pembroke. Hughart and Beard Funeral Home.

Death at Eddyville

Lal James, one of the best known men in Livingston county, died Sunday evening at his home in Eddyville, from the infirmities of old age.
The deceased was 78 years old. About three weeks ago his wife died and sorrow is supposed to have rushed his life to an end.
His children are all grown. Bartley James, of Evansville, formerly of Paducah, was a brother. Mr James at one time was a well known traveling salesman. Caldwell Co Aug 1904

Otis Monroe James, 75, Hopkinsville, Ky.
Died Monday 21 August 1972.
Born 21 January 1897 in Christian Co., son of Albert and Sallie Goode James.
Retired farmer, farming in the Rosetown community for about 32 years. Member of the Second Baptist Church.
Survivors: widow, Hallie Guthrie James; daughter, Mrs. Charles Clark of Pembroke; two grandchildren; one great grandchild.
Services: Wednesday 23 August 1972, burial in Rosedale Cem., Pembroke. Hughart Funeral Home.

WILLIE JAMES - JUN 1998

Willie James, 88, Princeton died at 12:45 a.m. Thursday at the NGC Health Care Center, Dawson Springs, following a brief illness. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery, Caldwell County.
A native of Caldwell County, he was born March 25, 1910, the son of the late Thomas Henry and Frances Elizabeth Thomason James. He was retired from the B.K. Co., Evansville, Ind., and was a member of the Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church. His wife, Mary Arizona Boitnott James, died in 1996.
Survivors include two sister, Bessie Dunning, Caldwell County, and Minnie French, Princeton.
