He is survived by his wife Anna; two daughters, Joan White of Canton, Ill., and Marjorie Gross of Peoria, Ill.; and step- daughter, Mrs. Ed Minton of Henderson : two sons, Louis Johnston of Knoxville, Ill. and David Johnston of Elmwood, Ill.; two sisters. Anna Overby of Montgomery, Ala., and Fay Winstead of Poole; 11 grandchildren and three great grand- children.
service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tapp Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Haire and the Rev. David Bruce officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- John Loyd Johnston, 83, Kissimmee, Fla., formerly of Providence, died Thursday at Florida Hospital
Kissimmee in Kissimmee.
A miner, he was a member of Christian Worship Center in Providence.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; six daughters, Sudie Simms of Dawson Springs, Ky., June Rosson of Wichita, Kan.,
Faye Brown of Providence, Ky., Nancy Heaton of Kissimmee, Sharon Cobb of Sturgis, and Debra Oakley of Louisville; one
son, Mitchell Johnston of Madisonville; two brothers, Woodson Johnston and Omer Johnston, both of Isley, Ky.; and 29 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Christian Worship Center. The Rev. Gary Brothers will officiate. Burial will be in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and 8 to 11 a.m. Monday at Townsend-Jones Funeral Home in Providence,
and after noon Monday at the Christian Worship Center.
