Ed Keeling Dead
Ed Keeling, well known here, died at his home in St. Charles Sunday evening after a short illness of typhoid fever.
Before leaving the county he resided at Hopson, and his many friends in that neighborhood regret his death very much. He was about thirty-two years of age. Caldwell County 1904
MARY KEELINGMary Elizabeth Bradley Keeling, 84, Elkton, died at 3:18 p.m. Friday, February 6, 1998, at Covington's Convalescent Center.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Maddux Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. Chris Short officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Elkton.
A native of Christian County, she was born Aug. 5, 1913, daughter of the late Benjamin Burgess Bradley and his wife, the late Annie Baggett Bradley. She was retired from Hopkinsville High School, where she had been a secretary. She also was a pianist in Todd and Christian counties, playing for various types of events. She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church, Christian County. Her husband, William Sylvester Keeling, died in 1973.Survivors include a son, James "Buster" Keeling, Elkton; two brothers, Benjamin Bradley, Christian County, and James W. Bradley, Vacaville, Calif.; a sister, Louise Bradley Leavell, Hopkinsville; and two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
