Death of Mr. King
Aged farmer Passes Away After Brief Illness
Mr. A. J. King, a well known and highly respected citizen , died at his home four miles northeast of the city at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon aged 70 years. He had not been in good health for some time, but was only confined to his bed about ten days. Mr. King was a native of Logan county and moved to Christian with his parents when a young man. He had been a member of the Baptist church for many years and was a man who enjoyed the esteem of all who knew him. He was a relative of the Rev. James, father of Jesse and frank James. He had been twice married and leaves a wife and three children, two grown sons, and one daughters, Mrs. James F. Rogers, of this city. The interment took place in the family burying ground yesterday afternoon services being held at the grave.

Mrs. Eunice King Dies in Orlando Florida
Word was received by relatives here today of the death of Mrs. Eunice King, who died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Howard Wheeler, at Orlando, Florida. Mrs. King recently underwent an operation, but was thought to have fully recovered, causing her passing to come as a surprise to the family.
The message also stated that last rites will be conducted Saturday morning at Orlando.
Mrs. King made her home in the city with a sister, Mrs. Lucien Guthrie, on West 15th Street, up until 5 years ago. Mrs Guthrie lives in Florida at the present time.
Besides the daughter, the deceased leaves a son, Ewing, who makes his home in the cunty but presently is in the service.

FORMER RESIDENT OF CITY DIES AT ORLANDOMrs Eunice Irene King, a native of Hopkinsville, was buried at Greenwood Cemetery at Orlando, Florida Saturday, relatives here were informed. She died the middle of last week. Dr. L. E. McNair officiated. She went to Orlando eight years ago to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Howard Wheeler.
Besides her daughter, she is survived by one son, S SGT William Emil King, Punta Gorda Army Air Field, one sister, Mrs. Lucien W. Guthrie, of Miami, Florida, one brother G. Walter Wood, Prescott, Arizona, tow grandchildren, Adrian and Nicholas King of Hopkinsville, KY, several nieces and nephews.
GERALD (PETE) KINGGerald (Pete) King, 55, of R. R. 1, died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Community Methodist Hospital.
King was a retied employee of Whirlpool after 25 years, was member of the Jerusalem Masonic Lodge No. 9, and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; three daughters, Debby Septer and Sherie Mays, both of Henderson, and Carolyn Cates of Darien, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Agnes Curry of Monticello, Miss.; two brothers, Tobe King of Elkton, Md., and Roy King of Louisiana; and four grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending at Benton- Glunt Funeral Home.

SOUTHFIELD, MICH. - Lucian D. KING, 79, died at 12_15 a.m. Sunday at Providence Hospital here. He was a former Corydon resident.
He is survived by a sister, Ada STEADHAM , of Corydon.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Tapp Funeral Home, with the Rev. gene Hoke officiating. Burial will be in Corydon Cemetery.
Friends may call at Tapp Funeral Home after noon today.

INFIRMITIES OF AGE CAUSE DEATH OF YOUNG COUNTY LADY
Mrs. Lucy King Died Last Friday At Her Home Near Rinaldo
LOUSIANA (LUCY) A SANDERS KINGMRS LUCY KING, widow of Mr. William (Buck) King, died last Friday at her home near Rinaldo, Lyon county, at the age of about seventy-two.
Infirmities incident to advanced age caused her death. The husband had been dead about twenty-eight years, and Messrs. Porter, John and Ollie King are the names of the three surviving sons.Mrs. King was formerly a Miss Sanders, and three brothers survive her. Harve Sanders of Texas; Jack Sanders, of Trigg county, and Josh Sanders of Caldwell county. Mrs. King Mitchell, of this city, Mrs. George W. Larkins, of near Bethesda, and Mrs. Hop Bridges, of Wallonia, are nieces, and Louis F Sanders of Wallonia is a nephew.
Mrs. King was a member of the Blue Spring Baptist church and a good Christian woman. She was a kind and indulgent mother and a good friend and neighbor, and her death is mourned by hosts of loving relative and loyal friends.
Burial took place last Saturday afternoon at the Sugar JimMitchell grave yard.

Funeral services for Mary Grace DUNNING KING, 87, of Cerulean will be conducted at 2 pm Wesnesday. Feb 04, 1998.The Rev. Frank Stallins and Gary Snyder will officiate the ceremony. Burial will follow in the Caldwell Blue Springs Cemetery
in Caldwell County.Mrs. King died on Jan 31 at the Princeton Health Care Manor after a long illness.
Mrs. King was born on Jan 28, 1911. She was the daughter of the late Fred W. and Dora ATWOOD DUNNING.
Mrs. King was a homemaker and a member of the Cerulean Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Garey KING in 1992; and five sisters, Lola WADE, Myrtle KIMBRO, Flora BANISTER, Estelle STALLONS and Ora Louis NOEL.
Survivors include her husband William "Bill" KING; a son and daughter in law, Gaylon and Lynn KING of Cerulean; a broher, Guy Lacy DUNNING of Trigg County; three sisters, Lois BRIDGES of Trigg County, Ruby BOREN of east St. Louis, Ill, and Ruth TIMMONS, of Granite City, Ill, five granchildren, Todd KING, Sharon FUTRELL, Lisa SUMNER, Laura Gayle KING and Dustin "Dusty" KING; and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Don Noel, Sonny Gray, Paul Finley, Todd King, Kenny Futrell and Dusty King.
Music was provided by Tommy and Linda Winn, vocalists, and Faye Stevens, organist.
