Pennyrile Deaths – April 1, 1999ELKTON, Ky. — Leo H. Laakso, 73, Jackson, Mich., died at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday at Doctors’ Hospital, Jackson, of natural causes. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Latham Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Wilkerson officiating. Burial will be in Glen-wood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday. A native of Detroit, Mich., he was born June 10, 1925, the son of the late William and Anio Mario Paakkola Laakso. He was a design engineer and member of the First Baptist Church, . Ann Arbor, Mich.Survivors include his wife, Joyce Laakso; and two sons, Thomas Mackinzie, Colorado, and Lynn Thomas Ralston, California.
