CLAUDIE LEE , little daughter of MR. AND MRS. GEORGE LARKINS, six miles north of Cadiz died Monday morning at
one o'clock of bronchial pneumonia. Burial took place Monday afternoon at the Robertson grave yard near Montgomery.Funeral services were conducted by Rev. A.L. Schanzenbacher.
The little one was eight months and fifteen days old, and had been the idol of the home. Her death is indeed a shock to the family and friends, all of whom extend sincerest sympathy to the bereaved in their hour of sorrow.Cadiz Record

George Larkins, Jr., 85, of Louisville, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
A retired employee of L,G,& E. Company, a retired WW II Army veteran, a member of the Shively Masonic Lodge #951 and the Hazelwood Methodist Church, he was born April 9, 1915 in Trigg County, Ky., the son of the late George Larkins, Sr., and Zona Lee Sanders.
Survivors include his wife, Robbie Mitchell Larkins ; two daughters, Carol A. Howard and Cheryl L. Jutz ; two sons, Lacy H. and J. D. Larkins ; nine grandchildren ; eight great-grandchildren ; two nieces, Linda Warfield and Joyce Gilkey, both of Caldwell County ; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at O.D. White & Sons Chapel in Louisville with the Rev. Rolf Ruegg officiating.
Burial followed in the East End Cemetery, Cadiz, Ky.

The above wire was received by the Red Cross Chairman, Mr Pollard White, on Wednesday, November 22, announcing the sad news of another of the finest type of Trigg Counties manhood had met the supreme test and paid the supreme price -- his life. Pvt James Larkins was born in the Bethesda neighborhood January 12, 1920.
He was the son of Mr and Mrs George Larkins. He was graduated from Trigg County High School, in the class of 1940, was an outstanding student of the class.
He was married to a neighborhood girl, Miss Ann Alexander, the daughter of Mr and Mrs Otis Alexander, on January 8, 1942.
Pvt Larkins was employed in Louisville at the time of his induction in the armed forces in a well established business firm. He was called to the active service of his country on January 31, 1942. After his training for the service he left for the European theater of war and followed the battles of the famous 3rd Army, with Gen. Patton.
He has been a member of Bethesda Methodist Church since a very young lad and a devout Christian a fact, which lends great comfort to his devoted family and friends.
His last trip home was in last August having only 24 hours leave with his young wife and parents. He is survived his wife, Mrs Ann Alexander Larkins, a nine months old son, James Marion Larkins, his parents, Mr and Mrs George Larkins, two sisters, Mrs Percy Piercy, Mrs Hewlett Hall, of Caldwell County. Three brothers, Harvey, George and William Larkins.

Robbie Sanders Larkins, 83, of Cadiz, Ky., died Monday, June 7, at her home of natural causes.
A homemaker, member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, The Business and Professional Women, Trigg County Quilters Guild and National Assoc. for Retired Federal Employees, she was born June 28, 1915 in Trigg County, Ky., a daughter of the late Murl Sanders, Sr. who died in 1959 and Annie Ruth Morris Sanders, who died in 1944.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Larkins on Nov. 6, 1998, and a brother, Murl Sanders, Jr.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Dennis Karrigan of Cadiz ; a son and daughter-in-law, Eddie "Mickey" and Lavada Larkins of LaGrange ; three grandchildren, Laura Miracle, Chad Miracle and Callie Karrigan ; two brothers, E.E. "Mutt" Sanders and Carrol Sanders, both of Trigg County, and a sister, Edna Goodwin of Princeton.
Funeral services Wednesday, June 9, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz with the Rev Kenneth Evans and Rev Gayla Waebb officiating.
Burial will follow in Robertson Cemetery in Trigg County, Ky.
