Miss McDonald Dies In Louisville -- Left Cadiz in December
Miss Adaleia McDonald, who had charge of the millinery department of J.S. WilsonÕs store last fall, died last Friday night in St JosephÕs Infirmary in Louisville after an operation of appendicitis.
She left Cadiz the 26th of December for Louisville where she made her home with a sister. She was twenty three years old. Miss McDonald made many warm friends during her stay in Cadiz by her pleasant and womanly conduct who will learn of her untimely death with much regret. Cadiz Record - Feb 1905
MARGARET COFFEY MC DONALD
Margaret Coffey McDonald, 101, Louisville, formerly of Henderson, died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday at Brownsboro Hill nursing home in Louisville.
She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. McDonald, in 1987.
Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Colby of Allentown, Pa.; two sons, Paul C. McDonald of Prospect, Ky., and
Patrick J. McDonald of Newport, N.C.; one sister, Gertrude Coffey Ponder of Henderson; 13 grandchildren; 19
great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. The Rev. Andy Ausenbaugh will officiate. Burial
will be in St. Louis Cemetery in Henderson.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, where a rosary will
be said at 8 p.m. Monday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice.
