Elizabeth "Libby" McGlothlin, 69, East 17th Street, died at 12:53 p.m. Thursday at her home following a long illness. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. Robert Brannon officiating. The body was cremated. There will be no visitation.
A native of Tulsa, Okia., she was born Feb. 27, 1930, the daughter of the late McNair William and Grace Sims Hulse. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church in Mountain View, Ark.
Survivors include her husband, James H. McGlothlin; two sons, James Jackson Simmons III, Raleigh, N.C., William McNair Simmons, Altamont, Ill.; five daughters, Holly Simmons Baker, Tuscaloosa, Ala., Robin Simmons Luster, Little Rock, Ark., Ma-linda Simmons. Plybon, Fulton, Mo., Ronda JoAnn McGlothlin Craig, Dallas, Texas, Jae Leslie, Hopkinsville; a sister, Alice Starling, Hopkinsville and 12 grandchildren.
