Mrs. Meadows who resided on one of Mr. Henry Skinner's places fell dead last week.
She fell dead on her babe and the cries of the child were heard by it's father who was at work in a barn not far away.

Pennyrile Deaths April 5, 1999CADIZ, Ky. — Robert L. “Bob” Meadows, 79, Cadiz, died at 10:30 p.m. Friday at Trigg County Hospital of natural causes.Services were scheduled for 2 this afternoon at Goodwin Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Tom Martin officiating. Burial was to follow in East End Cemetery.A native of Cynthiana, Ind., he was born July 2, 1919, the son of the late Joseph Hampton and Lillian Ola Johnson Meadows. He was a retired pharmacist and had owned and operated Meadows Pharmacy from 1948 until 1972. He was a past president of the First District Pharmaceutical Association, was a member of the -Cadiz Masonic Lodge, was a former member of the Trigg County School Board and was a founder of WKDZ radio. He was a member of the Cadiz Water Commission and was a partner in the Trigg Manor Nursing Home. He was a World War II Army veteran and was a member and deacon of the Cadiz Christian Church where he had taught Sunday school.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta Huddleston Meadows; a son, John Robert Meadows, Cadiz; a daughter, Connie Lee Meadows Thomas, Bowling Green; four grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
