Death of Mrs. Mercer.
Mrs. Anna I. Mercer died at the residence of her son, S.C. Mercer, Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock.
She was 80 years old and had been in feeble health for several months and ill for a week or more. The funeral was conducted from the residence by Rev. Montgomery May Tuesday afternoon, and the burial was made in the city cemetery. Mrs. Mercer had been a member of the Presbyterian church for 65 years and for a number of years had belonged to the congregation of the First Presbyterian church here. She was an exemplary Christian and a good woman and leaves a large number of friends in the city.

HARRY E. MERCER 56, retired machinist, of Salem, died suddenly at 1:10 o'clock this afternoon, at the barber shop,
107 South Fourth street.
Mr. MERCER had come to visit his brother, L. A. "Bud" MERCER, Paducah policeman.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. EVA MERCER, Salem; his mother, Mrs. A. E. MERCER, Salem; two brothers, L. A.
MERCER, Paducah and ROBERT "BOB" MERCER, Cleveland, Ohio; and a sister, Mrs. ALLIE TRAVIS, Salem.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Friends may call at Roth's funeral chapel.

Funeral services for HARRY E.
MERCER, 56, died here suddenly Tuesday afternoon will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Roth funeral chapel.
Rev F. A. Flatt, pastor of the Fountain Avenue Methodist church officiating.
Interment will be in Oak Grove cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Murrell Anderson, James Folk, Horace Sowell, Robert Horace Green, Sam Craig and Dan Orr.
Mr. MERCER, a retired machinist, had lived in Paducah all his life until a few weeks ago when he went to Salem to make his home. He has returned to Paducah for a visit with his brother, BUD MERCER, at the time of his death.
