The body of a white man was found in a straw stack on the farm of W.G. P'POOL at Bainbridge, Christian Co, KY about three miles from Cerulean Springs, last Friday morning. The man had been in the neighborhood late Tuesday preceding, and on the day had talked with C.J. MOSELEY to whom he gave his name as MILLER and claimed to be from Graves county.
This was the last seen of him until the body was found. The matter was reported to Coroner Allensworth of Christian c
being that the man came to his death by freezing.
The body was taken to Hopkinsville Monday by Mr P'Pool and was identified by Mr FENTRESS, of the Western Kentucky Asylum for the Insane, as being that of Elbert MILLER a patient from Wingo, Graves County.
Miller had been in the asylum for some time and was considered a "trusty". On New YearÕs day he was sent to the
spring for a bucket of water, and failing to return within a reasonable time search was made for him, but he was not
located. His bucket was found setting beside the spring. The body was delivered to the asylum officials and will be
disposed of as relatives direct. Cadiz Record - Jan 05, 1905
