OLLIE MORSE
PRINCETON, Ky. -- Ollie Morse, 102,
Kuttawa, formerly of Shady Grove, died at
9:15 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at Hilltop
Nursing Home, Kuttawa, following a brief illness.Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan's
Funeral Home, with the Rev. J.R. Bruce officiating.
Burial will be in Sugar Creek Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 tonight.A native of Caldwell County, she was born Feb.
10, 1898, the daughter of the late Ed and Alice
Dearing Boyd. She was a homemaker and a
member of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church. Her
husband, Will Ed Morse, preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters,
Lois Watson and Katherine Jean Morse.Survivors include three daughters, Mae Boyd,
Carlsbad, N.M., Georgia Endicott, Poseyville,
Ind., Wilma Board, Princeton; seven grandchildren
and 14 great-grandchildren.
Vanetta MORSE, 67, of Robards died at 5:24 a.m. Wednesday at Community Methodist Hospital.
She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Hebbardsville.
She is survived by her husband, Richard MORSE Sr.; three daughters, Mary Frances COPELAND of Eddyville, Heather GARRETTt of Paducah and Ollie Lee MORSE of Robards; three sons, James MORSE of Urbana, Ill., Richard MORSE Jr. of Henderson and Floyd MORSE of Indianapolis; one sister, Mattie B. GRAY of Louisville; 30 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Henderson with the Rev. Douglas Smith and the Rev. Eddie Ross officiating. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery. Friends may call at Gains Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Friday.
