Miss Eva L. Royalty, 88, Hopkinsville, Ky.
Died Monday 27 July 1959 at Jennie Stuart Hospital.
Born in Christian Co., daughter of Henry and Mary Ann Royalty.
Retired postal employee who served under six Hopkinsville postmasters. She retired from her postal career in 1933. She then went to Clear Creek Preachers School at Pineville with her sister, the late Miss Helen Royalty who died in January, where they donated their services until returning to Hopkinsville in 1954. Lifelong member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors: three nieces, Mrs. J. W. Wilkins of Hopkinsville, Mrs. James Ferguson of Oregon, Ill. and Mrs. Rudolph Viehe of Memphis, Tenn.; several great nieces including Mrs. David Beck, Mrs. Ida Bouldin,Mrs. Pete Primm and Mrs. Fritz Wilkins all of Hopkinsville.
Services: Wednesday 29 July 1959, burial in Riverside Cemetery. Keightley Funeral Home.
