DAVID DYER THOMASSONDavid D. Thomasson Dies In Graves County
David Dyer THOMASSON, son of the late William and Effie Radford THOMASSON, died April 7, 1940 after illness of
some duration.
Cancer was said to have been the cause of his death. Mr Thomasson, was born May 1, 1874, near Montgomery in this county. However, since he was 21 years of age he has lived near Lowes, Ky in Graves county.
His wife, who was Miss Ruby WYMAN of Graves county departed this life on March 13, 1940, hardly a month before Mr
Thomasson's death. Mr Thomasson joined the Rocky Ridge Church at the age of 13 and remained a true Christian
through out his lifetime. He was a well known and respected merchant in the community in which he lived.
He leaves four sons and one daughter, namely: Cecil, Arnold, Lee, Boyce and Christine; one sister, Mrs J.E. MASON, Hopkinsville, one aunt, Mrs Marie TORIAN, Hopkinsville and an uncle, Lee THOMASSON of Trigg County.

The body of J.J. THOMASSON, a carpenter who died Monday morning from tetanus, the result of sticking a nail in his foot ten days ago, was shipped to his home in Gracey, Ky. today for burial.

Mr. Thomasson was a brother of Lee and Arnold Thomasson of Montgomery and made his home in Trigg county until about 15 years ago. He has been living in Paducah for a number of years. His wife who was Miss Hester, died several years ago, and Mr. Thomasson never married again. The remains were buried at the Rocky Ridge graveyard in this county on the 11th of September. He was born in Todd county, Ky. Jan 9, 1858 and was the son of David D and Elizabeth Thomasson, who died in his early childhood. Besides his brothers, he leaves three sisters, Mrs. Sarah F. Braboy, Mrs. R.O. Torian and Mrs. J.J. Hall.

J. P. THOMASSON, 72, of Onton died Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Tillman PERRIN, after several weeks' illness.
He is survived by his wife, Nora (THOMPSON); three daughters, Mrs. Naomi PERRIN, Mrs. Gardie LIITTLE of Onton and Mrs. Marvin (Viva Lee) PARKER of Evansville. Three sons, J. P. and Billy of Onton and Emerson of Evansville. Sisters, Mrs. Pearl THPMPSON of Onton; one brother, Lelon THOMASSON of Newark, N. J. And six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Onton Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. (Tuesday) with interment at Sassafras Grove Cemetery. (1867-1948) (Sebree Banner)

Sebree - Services for Nora THOMASSON, 91, who died at 8 p.m. Sunday at Community Methodist Hospital in Henderson, will be at 1 p.m. at Tompkins Funeral Home in Sebree, with burial in Sassafas Grove Cemetery near Sebree.

STROTHER M. THOMASSONSEBREE - Strother M. Thomasson, 73, of Sebree died at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Community Methodist Hospital in Henderson.
He is survived by nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Tompkins and Son Funeral Chapel in Sebree, with burial in Springdale.
