Clara Mae TINSLEY., 69, Cadiz Ky., died 11:20 p.m. Saturday May 2, 1998. A native of Muncie Ind., Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bingham-Larkin Cemetary, She was born Nov. 18, 1928, the daughter of the late John Henry and Clara Larkins Bingham. She was retired from the Lake Barkley state Resort Park and was a member of the Bloomfield Baptist Church. Her husband Clifton Tinsley preceeded her in death. Survivors include a son, Perry L. Bingham, Indianapolis Ind,. A daughter Brenda D. Bringham, Cadiz; a brother, Joe Bingham Cadiz; three sisters, Marie Caudle and Doris
Bingham, Both of Indianaplois. Gladys Tinsley, Cadiz, and two grandchildren.

Of Typhoid Fever
Mrs. J. M. Tinsley Dies Sunday Morning
Mrs. Tinsley, wife of Mr. J. M. Tinsley, died Sunday at her home on Jesup avenue, of typhoid fever. She was first taken ill with pherperal fever and later developed typhoid symptoms, resulting fatally. The burial took place yesterday at the Boyd burying ground in the country.

Mrs. Lula Tinsley, 89,of Princeton, died Monday, March 26, 2001, at 7:35 p.m. at Caldwell County Hospital in Princeton of natural causes.
A homemaker and member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Cadiz, she was born Nov. 6, 1911 in Cadiz, (Trigg County), a daughter of the late Marshall and Cecily Wilson Wadlington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jodie Tinsley.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Tinsley and Robert Tinsley, both of Princeton; two daughters, Laura Lee Frances Tinsley of Princeton and Dorothy Lee Collins of Central City; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Clifton Wadlington of Hopkinsville; and a sister, Agnes Thompson of Terre Haute, Ind.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 31, at 2 p.m. at Spillman Chapel CME Church in Princeton with the Rev. Sam Scott and the Rev. Jerry Gray officiating.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Princeton, Ky.
DR. SAMUEL TINSLEYSANFORD, N.C. -- Dr. Samuel W. Tinsley, 79, Sanford, formerly of Hopkinsville, Ky., died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2003, at his home following a long illness.
Services were held February 15 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Sanford. The body was cremated.A native of Hopkinsville, he was born July 15, 1923, the son of the late Samuel W. Tinsley Sr. and Willie Harned Tinsley. He joined Union Carbide in 1950 as a research chemist in South Charleston, W. Va., and retired in 1985 as director of corporate technology from the Danbury, Conn., corporate headquarters.
During his tenure with Union Carbide, he authored numerous technical papers and held or co-held forty U.S. patents.
He served as president of the Industrial Research Institute, as chairman of the directors of Industrial Research and was a member of the American Chemical Society.
He was selected to serve on the Space Applications Board of NASA, the science and technology steering committee of the National Association of Manufacturers. He was a past president of the Commercial Development Association.
A musician, he was a trumpeter with the Sandhills Community College Jazz Band and with his wife played with the Hoosier Five swing band. He was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church where he served on the vestry and was a member of the choir and for two years served as senior warden.
Survivors include his wife, Jeane Payne Tinsley; a son, Samuel W. Tinsley III, Chester, Va.; two daughters, Kathy Tinsley, Lillington, N.C., Mrs. Jeff (Kristy) Jackson, Greensboro, several grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Memorials may be made to the Youth Endowment Fund at St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
