Widow of Walter W. Woosley who died five years ago. Member of Second Baptist Church.
Survivors: six daughters, Mrs. Clarence Gresham of Cerulean, Mrs. Norman Gresham of Herrin, Ill., Mrs. Lee W. Turner of Cerulean, Mrs. George Burrus of Trenton, Mrs. Clyde Rogers of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mrs. Buford Colley of Hopkinsville; two sons, Virgil W. Woosley of Hopkinsville and W. T. Woosley of Marion; a sister, Mrs. Trice Shepherd of Hopkinsville; a half-brother, Otis James of Hopkinsville; 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Retired farmer of the Bainbridge Grove community.
Member of a pioneer family of Christian Co., his maternal great-grandfather settled here from North Carolina in the late 1700's. His paternal great grandfather came here from Halifax County, Va. in 1820.
Member of Second Baptist Church and former member of Bainbridge Grove Baptist Church. Moved to Hopkinsville upon his retirement in 1943.
Survivors: Cora Mae James Woosley; three sons, Virgil W. of Christian Co., Travis of Fredonia, and Thurmond Woosley of Detroit; six daughters, Mrs. Clarence Gresham and Mrs. Lee W. Turner both of the Princeton Road, Mrs. Norman Gresham of Herrin, Ill., Mrs. Clyde Rogers of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. George Burrus of Fairview and Mrs. Buford Colley of Hopkinsville; 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services: Friday 1 November 1957, burial in Riverside Cem.
