WILL OF ELIJAH WALKER
October 4, 1830 Will Book F, p358 Christian Co KY-- Elijah Walker.
Knowing it is appointed for man once to die and being in a low state of health but in a sound state of mind - I make this my last will and testament that is after the Doctors bill is paid, I leave to my wife, Mary Walker, the farm I now live on with all my stock and household furniture as long as her children remain with her and as they leave her, WILLIAM WALKER to have one young sorrel mare and bridle, plow gear, ax and hoe, ALEX WALKER one sorrel house, saddle, bridle, plow, gear, ax and hoe, ANN WALKER, one bed and furniture, two cows and calves,one loom and ten gallons of pot metal, MARY WALKER, one bed and furniture, two cows, and calves, one loom and ten gallons ;of pot metal, and at my wife, Mary Walker, death or her marrying the property to be sold and equally divided among my heirs. Mary, my wife to have a childs part if she should marry. I leave Samuel Underwood and Mary Walker my wife executors in this my last will and testament.
