Gropengeiser

Photo from Maria Troutman Collection

This one isn't very good, but you already have the people on the page, but I cropped the photo to only show the people, (Billy & Betty Gropengeiser), but uncropped if you look over his shoulder, past the tree stump, I think I'm seeing tombstones, which would place this around Vandetta/Hanson area. I *THINK* what we are seeing is maybe part of the old section of the Providence Methodist Church Cemetery, as there is a big building over her shoulder, which could be the church before it was bricked...???? They are buried at the Providence Methodist Church Cemetery, across the road from the church. If I have the right church, there is a cemetery right next to it and extends across the road in front of the church. Billy (William) Gropengeiser died Dec. 1941 so this would most likely be taken late 1930 up to the fall of 1941.
