Dear brother,

I set my self down to rite you these few lines to let you know that I am well at this time hoping this will find you the same I want you to write ------------------ post office address be shure and write to me and let me know how you are giting along and where you are staying and what you are doing and if you are giting any money and if so how much and if you have been kild any more ore if ther is any likly hood of being kild any more it would give me satesfaction to here from you and if it is a good place to make money if so I would like to be thare so write as son as you can my address J.W.
