Dear Sir

I write to let you know we are not very well Elisha is very poorly he has got typhoid fever and he is at the hospittle the doctor was up here this morning and had us to take him down to the hospittle to stay to see if he had typhoid fever it may not be fever but I am afraid it is he is awful hot and complains of his head and breast and stomach he took sick Saturday and this is Monday night he dont complain of his head as bad this evening as he did yesterday last night well Uncle Bill I think Lisha will be well treated Doctor Crate and Bill Gambills are the Doctors we will go and see Lisha every day and keep you posted on how he is doing I would be glad some of you could come and see him tell Willie to come any way Lisha got him a job and worked 1 1/2 days well Uncle Bill dont be uneasy for Lisha will be well treated
