LETTER FROM H.D. McKNIGHT, ATTY, DATED OCT 25, 1890 The Atty wants William to contact an Officer or Comrade who can attest to the fact that "at Lexington, KY about December 15, 1864, he cantracted disease of the eyes and back and rheumatism and complained and suffered from said disabilities up to discharge."

MAY 26, 1892 Mr. Wm. Robbins, you will please pay to John Dulin $1.981/2 one dollar ninety eight and one half cent - this shall be your receipt for same. Respectfully Yours, H. Cantrell (John M. Dulin married to Syrissa Cantrell?)

LETTER DATED JUNE 7th , 1896 >From William Robbins to Soule & Co., Attys., Washington, D.C. William was responding to their request for a physical exam to help process his disability claim. In the letter William says he has been unable to procure an affidavit to date but wants the law firm to advise him how to proceed because "I am suffering from weak eyes, rheumatism, injury to breast, weak back and injury to knee.."

1st PAGE OF A LETTER DATED MAY 20 1897 PAINT KY (Not sure who wrote it) Mr. Wm Robbins Relief Ky Dear Brother This leaves us all well at present hope when this reaches you it will find you all well I wrote a letter to Sister Elizabeth since I was at your house and got a answer from her they are all well but she is nearly stone blind she is drawing twenty four dollars every three months well Bill I have got all my out fit for making.... NOTICE DATED JUNE 23 1907 Issued by William Robbins and served on Ellen Dulin by G.W. Price, Morgan Co Clerk. Notice demands that Ellen "remove your fencing from my fencing whenever joined on or before March 1, 1908 or you will be proceeded against by due form of law." (note: Susan Ellen Doolin is Basel's daughter and Susanne's sister. She never married)

LETTER OCT 23 1920 CHRISTAN W.VA. Well I got your letter all OK This leaves me well and working ever day. I have clared fifty dollars while up hear I got a letter from John Rowland. Said I could git $6.50 for eight hours at Jenkins. I will be out home the tenth of Nov and help you git in some coal and wood. And then I am going to Jenkins. I gess I will trade my horse to Shanklin and Isaaks. If you think it is best? What is R.C. Smith adoing. Tell him to write me. Answer soon Trucks (Elisha Robbins)
